Support Susquehanna Waldorf School
SWS grows and blossoms through the support of our community and tireless fundraising by our families and faculty. From strengthening our operating budget to funding class trips, supplies, faculty development, salaries and tuition assistance, fundraising plays a vital role in ensuring the school’s mission can be fulfilled. However you choose to give, your support enables SWS to offer a Waldorf journey to students who will become tomorrow’s leaders, innovators, builders, and thinkers. We are so grateful. Thank you!

The school gratefully accepts monetary gifts, and it’s easy to do! As a non-profit 501©3 organization, all donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
SWS Fundraising Events
The Susquehanna Waldorf School has evolved into a remarkable institution due in part to growing charitable support from parents, grandparents, alumni families, trustees, friends, and foundations. Such generosity supports the school’s mission by providing the resources for program and student needs, faculty purposes, tuition assistance, and community interests.
Spring Auction & Gala
Our annual Spring Auction & Gala features scores of items from local artisans and businesses, as well as unique group experiences and hand-crafted live auction items from each grade. Proceeds help support the school and the continuing mission of providing quality Waldorf education.
The 2025 Annual Spring Auction will be on April 5th from 6 pm to 10 pm at Moonstone Manor.
Winter Faire
A celebrated tradition at Susquehanna Waldorf, our beloved school magically transforms into a seasonal gem as parents create this event anew each year. The Faire raises money in support of our school while bringing people together in celebration. Simultaneously our community reaches out to the greater community providing donations for a worthy cause. With great anticipation, we look forward to the first weekend each December in sharing this event with one another and you, do join us!

ExtraGive
The ExtraGive is our biggest fundraising event of the year! Join us for Lancaster County’s 24-hour annual giving day on November 22nd!
SWS Fundraising Programs
As a non-profit 501©3 organization, all donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
The school gratefully accepts gifts of:
- Cash and cash equivalents including stocks, securities, bonds, bequests, and charitable trusts.
- Donations of tangible items and services (in-kind) are often needed and requested.
Many businesses offer corporate matches for employees who donate to educational entities. We encourage families to take advantage of these kinds of programs if their employer is willing to match a financial donation to the school. Additionally, our nonprofit status qualifies SWS to receive United Way donations.
Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC)
Donate your tax bill to SWS and help us make Waldorf education accessible to more children! In just a few steps, you can redirect a percentage of your taxes and support tuition assistance for current and future students.
Annual Giving
The role of the Annual Giving Fund has been and remains a vital element in the school’s present excellence and future success. You can be part of future growth and progress by making a gift through the Annual Giving Campaign. Your participation at any level will be appreciated. Checks made out to the Susquehanna Waldorf School Annual Giving Campaign can be sent to the school’s address listed below.
