Join us for a morning of:

Our Parent-Child classes are led by experienced Waldorf educators who create a nurturing, respectful environment for both parents and children. While children engage in play and build connections with their classmates, parents are supported with valuable resources and a sense of community.

🎶 The sound of flutes and voices fills the air as our Waldorf students bring music to life!

In Waldorf education, music is more than just an activity—it’s a cornerstone of the curriculum, nurturing creativity, harmony, and joy. From early childhood through middle school, students explore music in meaningful ways, building their skills and confidence over time, starting with their first instrument: their voices.

Singing together fosters a sense of community while playing the flute teaches focus, discipline, and the beauty of collaboration. By middle school, these experiences empower students to shine, giving them the confidence to perform, express themselves, and embrace challenges with poise. Students learn to read and eventually compose music and during their time at SWS will learn to play multiple instruments including three different flutes, a string instrument, the ukelele, and more! This foundation provides students with the skills to appreciate music and continue to collaborate in and out of the classroom for life!

From retirement and nursing homes to Hinkle’s Restaurant, our students shared the spirit of giving and community through song. At SWS, we strive to nurture these values year-round, and this festive tradition beautifully reflects their commitment to spreading kindness and cheer.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful neighbors for welcoming us and making this experience so special. Happy holidays from all of us at SWS!
